Most of our services are charged at a £135 per half day, with alternative pricing options available for some services. Full details can be found in the table below.

The total cost is based on several key factors, including:
- Travel, accommodation, and photography permit costs.
- The number of archives, libraries, or record offices that need to be visited.
- The number, size, and complexity of the materials that need to be copied.
- Archive restrictions on advance ordering and document delivery.
**Transcription
Our pricing adjusts depending on the total number of files in your project, meaning that larger projects benefit from progressively lower rates.

File: A single image, such as a scanned page or a photograph of a document. Each image is counted individually for pricing purposes.

Simple file: Files that contain printed text or clear, legible handwriting, and simple layouts.

Complex file: Files with hard-to-read handwriting, faded text, poor-quality scans, or intricate layouts. For these files, a higher rate is applied to reflect the extra work involved.

Simple payment procedures
Payment is only requested once all aspects of the service have been agreed upon and arranged. An invoice will be emailed to you along with detailed payment instructions. We accept various payment methods, including credit card, debit card, and bank transfer.
For international customers, we also offer secure payments through Stripe, Wise, PayPal, and similar platforms that allow for easy and safe transactions in multiple currencies. This ensures that you can make payments seamlessly, regardless of your location.
If required, we are also happy to be set up as a vendor on your university’s payment system.
